White Tea For Cancer Prevention?
December 4th 2007 09:09
A study of white tea conducted by the Linus Pauling Institute of Oregon , published in 2001 , showed that white tea contains a greater amount of the antioxidant polyphenols, the same type of antioxidant found in green tea, and thus, believed to have the strongest potential of all teas for fighting cancer.
Another study done on white tea extracts at University Hospitals at Cleveland and Case Western Reserve University showed that the engredients in white tea are also effective in boosting the immune function of skin cells and could protect the skin against the damaging effects of the sun, another important discovery on the war against skin cancer.
